For my Finish meal I made Valkosipulikeitto – Garlic soup using this recipe.

It’s very simple to make; chicken stock, beer, potato, and flavourings (cloves, thyme, parsley, bay and nutmeg) are boiled together then blended. Oh, and some garlic. And by ‘some’ I mean four whole bulbs. I stink.

The soup is served with rye bread croutons – it’s filling and delicious, perfect for an autumnal day. And it’ll keep the vampires away.
